Day 3: Last Day in Bali

Today is the third day in our trip to Bali, and also the last day of our holiday in Bali. We decided to spend the day visiting an art museum "Don Antonio Blanco Museum", as usual, we can't take pictures inside the museum... But I can tell what is most of the painting is about.... girls. Yepp, girls. Apparently, Antonio Blanco really likes to draw and paint the figure of a lady.. And all the paintings are nice. They have certain moods and emotions in it. Some is also a nude painting.... But still very nice and artistic.

Then surrounding the museum is a park with lots of birds there. There are a lot of variations of the birds.. So cute and colorful~ Like the picture below... The bird kinds of reminds me with the Faber Castell pencil color hahahhaa

not to forget to always take a self photo~

And later I found this very cute red colored bird. I played with it and poke it with leaf.... And it eats the leaf. I think that the bird is very hungry.... hahahahaha look how much it ate..

And there's also this two creepy looking but cute at the same time bird. They are eating a corn... looks really yummy... :o

And there's this white bird on the other side of the tree..... Busy with itself... Playing around? It also likes to copy what people say... :o I talked to it and  it replies me with an "AAAAACKKK".

You can see how the bird poses when it knows that my father was taking a photo..... LOL smart and cute bird!!

Later, we took a tea break at a nearby restaurant. It sells lots of sweet stuff, and French cakes! omgomg.
And because I'm a sweetooth, ofcourse you know what I will order~

 Complimentary cold tea.....

I don't really remember the names of the cakes but this is a French cake set. I only know the third one is creme brulee. :) and it all tastes SOOO NICE. My favorite is the last cake on the right and creme brulee~

So this is a last post about my holiday to Bali... we enjoyed our time there :) but we didn't have time to visit the beach.. Maybe next time we will come back again just to play around the beach. After this, soon we get home and get ready for our flight back to Jakarta.~

BALI DAY 2: part 2~ Painting Museum and Kecak Dance

HELLOOU~ as it is seen from the title, this post is about my trip to Bali. That day we decided to have lunch in this famous restaurant called "Bebek Bengil" which means dirty duck in English. They have a history of why the restaurant name is like that.. If I'm not mistaken is because at first, when this place was still a small restaurant, there's a very big rice field there. And every evening, many ducks come to swim and play, and after they get dirty with the mud, they will walk in the floor and it's dirty with their footprints everywhere. So that's where the idea of the name comes from.... (it's if I'm not mistaken) haha.
Me and my pretty and always young mom at Bebek Bengil~

These are food we ordered... It is a Balinese cuisine. :D My family loves it... And this picture is the photo of my chauffeur in Bali... He is a very polite, patient, and nice guy... :D We had lunch with him and treated him to appreciate his hard work driving us everywhere from day to night..

And then, the next stop is the painting museum.

This is the inside of the museum.. The building is already very old and vintage-y. But they still maintain it and look very neat....

a bonus of my photo~
Due to the rules in the museum, we cannot take photos so I don't have the photos of the paintings that were being shown there... You can go by yourself if curious.. (come visit Bali, I guarantee you will love it :D ) It's mostly about history... (I guess?) hahaha because I do not really understand all the paintings ._.
BOO~! It's a Barong.

Anddd, at the night time we watched a Kecak show. It is really popular~ I think it's a must watch show for you to get to know more about Bali culture...
And here are some snapshots I took from the show...

There's a story and meaning behind this show, check it out if you are curious~
And after the Kecak show, there's a Kuda Lumping. The person who performs this attraction is believed to be possessed that's why he has a supernatural power... And you see the flame below? there's a lot of burnt woods and charcoal there and it is blazing HOT. And see how the person steps on it and do the dance? ;)
So interesting right!!!

So, the day ended with this awesome show! After that we went back and get rest for tomorrow's trip~

BALI DAY 2: part 1~ Pura Ulundanu Batur~

HII~ okay this is the continue post of the previous one. It's my new year holiday in Bali! Bali is such a nice place. Maybe the best region I've visited in Indonesia? Because of the nature.. and the government take cares of it and beautify it's potential; for example the beach. Actually Indonesia have a lot of beautiful nature but the government don't really take care of it.. so yeah. Uh I'm getting of topic again btw, now let's talk about my day 2 in Bali!~

This picture was taken in the front door of the villa... I just woke up and took a morning walk with my daddy. I was crossing the pond using the stepping stones~ cute pose right :B

There's varieties of beautiful plants in the garden surrounding the villa~ I took quite a lot snapshots of unique flowers... I post some below :D as you can see this flower is really strange judging by the small flowers which looks like onions.

And then I ran into this statue! I think it's really unique... It's holding a thing that says "spa" on it..
 Another flower photo!!~

And I think the villa owner also keep a chicken as a pet. The chicken is so TFFC! tiny, fat, fluffy and cute!!!!

 Also a meditation place....

And then we all had our breakfast.
the menu today is a various fruit slices
 pancake!
and last but not least... DELICIOUS YUMMY PORRIDGE! Yum!

Then we all get ready and went to this temple~ It's called pura in Indonesian... It is a place for Hindunese to pray.

 Me & my family

There's also a prayer that time when I went there.... All Bali people is so diligent. They always pray and really keep their tradition goes on...  I salute them!

So that's all~
